Whether it's giving Joy the woman or man of her dreams, or exploring the unexplored possibilities, fans love to ship characters together! Short for relationship, shipping is a hobby that lets others know which characters you prefer to be in romantic ships. Whether that ship is going to sail on the open seas or sink before it leaves the harbor, we don't care as long as it's cute or interesting (and legal)!
An 'x' means a romantic relationship while a '+' or '&' means a friendship... also known as a BROTP ("Brotherly One True Pairing").
Note: There are ships with the youngsters in it like our fav protag Ash... I do believe Joy is a pretty malleable character, so you can easily make a Joy OC around Ash's age or make Ash older and wiser. However it wouldn't surprise me that weird shotacon/lolicon/people that fetishize lesbians would make some of these ships up so... hard to say if I'll keep some of these listed. I do not endorse those ships, this is just for listing purposes. Also... some people forego the shipping names altogether if it's in bad taste, like LustShipping and instead simplify to Brock x Joy.
