On their way to Rustboro City for a gym badge, Ash and friends stop by a Pokemon Center. Brock tries to flirt, but May excitedly pushes him aside to ask Nurse Joy if she was transferred from Odale Town. That couldn't be possible since... Joy's never seen them before! And the Joy in Odale Town is actually her older sister! Max brings out a book that has a picture of all the Hoenn Joys side by side in a family photo.

While Max says all Nurse Joys look alike, Brock proves this to be untrue by saying this Joy's bangs are... a millimeter longer. Thanks for keeping me at the spot of #2 Joy fan Brocko.

1 millimeter is about the size of the tip of a pencil. According to where I got this chart from, Brock could easily find Stage 1 Vulva Cancer if he was a doctor. WTF Brock!

Before Brock gets the time of day to pull some more moves on Joy, Officer Jenny arrives. May is exasperated learning that there are multiple Jennies as well, with Brock saying "This Officer Jenny's eyelashes are 1/10th of an inch longer then any other Jenny in the country!"

Officer Jenny asks Nurse Joy if she's had any injured pokemon brought to the center, with Joy confirming no. There have been reports of a poacher operating in the area, with Jenny guessing that Pokemon Hunter Rico is the culprit due to his methods of cruelly hurting pokemon. Since May had found a broken part of a capture net earlier in the forest, the crew help Officer Jenny look for her target.

Nurse Joy's role in this episode is merely to confirm once again that Joy is a family of multiple look-a-likes, so she isn't seen again after the beginning.

Note:
Brock states that this Joy's bangs are 1 millimeter longer! That's very important you guyz!1!

Also... I've realized Ash and friends are lost in the forest for a few episodes, so it's hard to say if the Pokemon Center is conveniently on Route 104 or smack dab in the middle of the woods?
